Get Well cards

I might’ve made only 1 get well card in my life, and, given the season and the influx of sneezes and allergies flying around where I work, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to make a few.

Altenew was offering a sweet deal for September that included a free 2017 stamp so I took advantage. I have no idea what I’d use the 2017 stamp for, but I’m sure I’ll find something. I’ve got a little over 3 months left to enjoy use of it.

So here are some photos of the Get Well cards.

I actually have only completed one card, but others will follow soon, since I now know what colors to use.

I did experiment with Distress Oxides in craft paper:

But I wasn’t happy with the result so I tried to fix it with regular Distress Ink... not quite sure how to fix it but I do know I’ll be using colored pencils on this one.

I want to just mention hat I LOVE the Get Well Soon font - how it looks like it was hand written with a marker about to get dry. Bravo, #altenew 😊
